The Challenge: Energy Poverty
Today, nearly 800 million people worldwide, one in ten, still live without access to electricity.
In sub-Saharan Africa, around 600 million people (57% of the population) remain in darkness every night.
In developing Asia, 200 million people face the same challenge — including 7 million in Indonesia alone.
Without electricity, children cannot study after dark, families rely on polluting kerosene lamps, and communities face higher risks of poor health and limited economic opportunity.
Fuel-based lighting is not only dangerous, it also emits 190 million tonnes of CO₂ each year, worsening the climate crisis.
Access to clean, affordable energy is one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

How We Deliver
Designing for sustainability → Our systems are modular, easy to repair, and built for long-term use.
Distributing to those in need → We deliver clean, affordable solar systems to off-grid communities.
Training and education → We engage young people in hands-on IT, engineering, and design training, using e-waste as an educational tool.
Corporate partnerships → We help businesses meet ESG goals by offering e-waste solutions and team-building sustainability workshops.
Global collaboration → We work with international partners to manufacture, distribute, and maintain systems, creating local jobs and business opportunities.
Affordable access → Families pay through flexible micro-payments or local trade, ensuring no one is excluded.
