The PowerWells Foundation is proud to announce its latest initiative, the “Light to Sumba” Project, made possible through the generous support of the APNIC Foundation’s Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia). This groundbreaking project addresses two pressing global challenges, energy poverty and electronic waste, by repurposing discarded lithium-ion batteries into small-scale solar systems and WiFi hubs for underserved communities in Sumba, Indonesia.
